Welcome to Common Harvest CSA!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is based on the idea that neighbors buy a “share” of the farm at the beginning of the season, covering the myriad of winter and spring expenses that the farmers need to get the season going, and taking on some of the risk that the farmer carries in raising and harvesting your food. In exchange, the “share-owners” receive fresh, seasonal food from the farm on a weekly basis. It is based on mutual respect between the customers and the farmers. The CSA members get an in-depth experience of what it means to eat locally in Northeast Kansas from the first stalks of asparagus in May to the frost-sweetened spinach of Fall.
